Easter Petal Cone

This is another project we made at stamp camp last month.  I finally got around to finishing my sample!  We used the SU Petal Cone Big Shot Die (you can find it in the SU Occasions Mini Catalog) and A Good Egg Stamp Set in the Idea Book & Catalog.  For bling, we used Rhinestones, Flower Brads, and the Chunky Essentials White glitter.  You can't see it well on the photos, but we put glitter on the flowers around the top of the cone and the eggshell.  The medium sized Rhinestones fit perfectly into the center of the Flower Brads.

To finish off the project, we put shiny pink shred and a painted egg inside the cone.  Thanks for visiting!

Build a Blossom Stamp Set and Punch

I know, another Build a Blossom card?  The answer is yes because I really love the look and versatility of this stamp set!  The flowers and leaves punch out really easily.  If you use your bone folder to curl the petals, you can give them a great curve that makes it look like the flower is lifted off the card base.  You can't see it well in the photo, but I added some bling around the center of the flower using Dazzling Diamonds.  We'll be making this card at my next monthly club get together; I know the ladies are going to love it!

Ingredients:
Stamp Sets: Build a Blossom and Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink:  Always Artichoke, Pretty in Pink and Rose Red
Paper: Always Artichoke, Rose Red, Very Vanilla, and Springtime Vintage DSP
Accessories: Rose Red Seam Binding, Vintage Flower Adornments, Blossom Petals Punch, Sticky Strip, Modern Label Punch, Dimensionals, SNAIL, bone folder, 2-way Glue, and Dazzling Diamonds.

Thanks for stopping by and please click here and go to "Shop Now" if you'd like to purchase any of the products used to make this project!

Peace Within Card

I love the watercoloring on this card and its beautiful scene.  The stamp set used was Peace Within and I found this card on Stampin' Up!'s customer website under card projects.  I encourage you to visit the website, but don't forget that if you'd like to place an order, you'll need to go through my demonstrator website to take advantage of the "prefered pricing".

The colors used on this card are Cajun Craze, Not Quite Navy, Crumb Cake, More Mustard, Soft Suede, and Watercolor Paper.  The image was watercolored using Markers and an Aqua Painter.  The card base was made from Textured Paper; I love the look!

Thanks for visiting!

Build a Blossom Candy Bar Slider

I love the options you have with the Build a Blossom stamp set and Blossom Petals punch!  We wanted a tropical feel for the flower we put on this candy bar slider, so we used Melon Mambo and Delightful Daffodil together.  We also wanted a lot of bling, so we used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets to get the petals "glued up" then we put them in Dazzling Diamonds so they'd be all shiny!  Finally, we used the Build a Brad and Jumbo Eyelets to accessorize and what a cute slider great for any occasion!

Sale-a-Bration DSP Card Pouch

Just a reminder that there are only 3 weeks left for Sale-a-Bration, so don't forget to put your orders in; click here to visit my SU demonstrator website then click "Shop Now"!  This was a card holder/pouch we offered at Stamp Camp; we used all Sale-a-bration items: stamp set, DSP, buttons, and ribbon.  We added Pearls and Peach ribbon to finish it off.

Take care and have a great Monday!

Easter Blossoms Quilt Card

This card measures 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" and has the "quilt look" by using the scallop square punch and circle punch together.  My sideline, Eva Davalos, liked my original card here and thought we could "kick it up a notch" for Stamp Camp by adding this quilt look!  We used the Springtime Vintage DSP for inside the quilt squares, some pretty Pearls, and the awesome antique brads.  The adorable little girl was stamped in Rose Red craft ink and embossed using Clear Embossing powder.

Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

Tax Season Interruptions!

Hi everyone!  I'm sorry I'm not doing my usual posting, but tax season is interfering with my fun!  I've got a few more big returns to finish, so posting will be sporadic until I get them done.  Thanks for understanding and be sure to check back - I'm going to try to post another stamp camp project tomorrow.  Blessings to all!

St. Patty's Lip Balm Holder

This is the St. Patty's lip balm holder we made at our Stamp Camp last week. We used the Stampin Up Treat Cups and filled them with Champagne Glitter Glass. The shamrock was embossed, punched out, and finished off with a Pear Pizzazz Glimmer Brad. The above photo shows the punched out shamrock on the outside of the treat cup, but the picture below shows how the treat cup looks if you adhere the shamrock to the inside of the treat cup (this shamrock has an Old Olive Glimmer Brad).
The next picture shows the inside of the holder and the last photo shows the holder on its side.
Thanks for stopping by and contact me if you have any questions!

Because I Care 3-D Card

I love this hydrangea; it's worth hosting a workshop just to get this stamp set!  This was the other card my Club members made on Sunday.  Since the Bliss card I posted yesterday took some time, I wanted this card to be a faster one.  So, it's simple, but the layering on the flower and leaves really added some pizazz and the glitter in the flower centers added some bling!

Ingredients:
Stamp Set: Because I Care
Paper: Marina Mist and Whisper White
Ink: Marina Mist and Old Olive
Accessories: 5/8" Organza ribbon, Dimensionals, 2-way glue, Dazzling Diamonds, and Blender Pens

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget that you can order online anytime by visiting my Stampin Up Demonstrator website here!

OMG a Stylish Blog Award!

Kath from http://kath-allthatscrap.blogspot.com/ was kind enough to send me the Stylish Blogger Award!  Thanks so much Kath; it's nice to know that there are people out there who enjoy my blog!

After receiving this award, I must do the following:
1) Thank the person who gave this award to me and link it back to their blog.
2) Share 8 things about myself.
3) Pass this award to 8 other individuals that I have recently discovered.
4) Leave a comment on their blogs so that they can pass along the recognition.
5) I need to go on each of my new inspiring stampers sites and have them know that I think they are all winners in our stamping world and then have them pass along an award of recognition to some other lucky stylish bloggers out there!

Again, thanks to Kath for including me in her eight and here are 8 things about myself!
1) I've been stamping for about seven years and I've been a Stampin' Up demonstrator for most of that time.

2) I've got a great husband that lets me stamp all night without bothering me about it; he's wonderfully supportive and patient.
3) I have two jobs; Stampin' Up demonstrator and taking care of my paralyzed mother; some days I don't know which one is harder on my back!
4) Before taking care of my mother, I worked as a Senior Tax Manager at a local  CPA firm working on tax returns and related tax issues.  I don't miss having to keep track of every 5 minutes of my time!
5) I love going to Stampin' Up's annual convention to get great ideas and to get pumped up!
6) I can spend way too much time on the computer looking at other people's blogs!!
7) I love dogs!!  My little Emma is a terrier mix, and she is a terror, but we love her!
8) I love to travel to new places; someday I'd like to go to the Smithsonian and other great museums.

SO now that you know some "exciting" things about me, here are 8 blogs I'd like to pass this award to and find out 8 exciting things about them!

Mary Fish: http://www.stampinpretty.com/ I want to thank Mary for the wonderful ideas, great tutorials,  and kindness she has shown me and many others!
Maria Pane:  http://stampinandscrappinwithriri.blogspot.com/  I love her talent and zest for all things Stampin' Up!
Nancy Riley: http://www.stampinat6213.blogspot.com/ I love her committment to the weekly iPicks and thanks to her and the picks, my stamping is constantly improving!
Becky Roberts: http://www.inkingidaho.blogspot.com/ I love Becky's ideas and her blog - she's given me wonderful ideas and inspiration!
Mercedes Weber: http://www.mercedesweber.blogspot.com/  I love her tutorials and wonderful ideas!
Vicki B: http://www.itsastampthing-vicki.blogspot.com/ I've learned so much about layout and design just by going to her blog and looking at all her wonderful cards!

NOTE: I'm removing the names of folks that would rather not participate at this time due to concerns/issues with internet search engines or website linking.  I didn't mean to cause any problems.  I still let the ladies I picked know how much I appreciate them and their blogs!

It was difficult to choose who to pass the award along to because there are so many talented stampers that I get great ideas from - I appreciate all Stampin' Up demonstrators who share their joy of stamping with the rest of us challenged folks!  Have a great Wednesday everyone!
